As previously advised the new provider for the laboratory testing of cervical cytology and HPV testing in Hawkes Bay is Pathlab. Please note that due to Medlab Central withdrawing from cervical screening services on 30 June, the transition date to Pathlab is now 1 July 2023. We are working with Pathlab to ensure a smooth transition.

Please note:

• Thinprep vials CANNOT be used after 30 June.
• SCL will continue to provide courier services for Napier, Hastings, Flaxmere and Havelock North
• Please continue to order consumables via SCL. Note that during the transition phase there may be a small delay while we await stock from Pathlab.
