Awanui Labs has received approval from the Clinical Operations Advisory Group (COAG) to permanently close the South City, Invercargill collection centre. This decision will allow us to concentrate on ensuring that our remaining collection centres operate in a safe, efficient, and sustainable manner. The South City centre will close permanently from Monday July 22, 2024.

To ensure that residents near the South City Collection Centre are not greatly impacted by this closure, Awanui is collaborating with local referrers to offer a small clinic service within a referrer practice in the immediate area. We will provide details of this new service as soon as plans are finalised.
